My experience of using Outdoor Toys Direct was very bad and I would NOT recommend them to anyone else. I had to keep phoning them to progress my order, they didn't return calls and generally had no idea of what was going on. This culminated in them telling me that they were going to change couriers (due to a problem they had with courier) and they would get back to me (which they never have) when the problem was resolved and yet the item was delivered the next day - they really need get their customer service department out!

It took over a week for them to inform me that the item was out of stock & was no longer available to buy. A decent website would not allow you to buy items which are no longer in stock.

I only ordered my product on Monday 10th Sept 2007 and all I have recieved from my order is the free base for the parasol. I tried to call them on their so called customer service helpline and waited for them to answer the call an hour later no one even bothered to answer it. I have emailed them to cancel the order even thou they have taken the money without me even seeing the goods being delivered and hopefully I will get responce from them very soon.

Give this company and all others associated with Kybotech a very wide berth. I have never experienced anything like this in my whole life - how this company are still in business I'll never know. Ordering the item was very easy indeed but once they have your money, that's it! You are then faced with an absoultely impenetrable wall if you so much as try to contact them as no 'tracking' information is given online, and their 'delivery dates' are seemingly plucked from thin air. I bought a six seater table and chairs set. It came with parasol and cushions for the chairs. It was delivered on time and the man who delivered it was very friendly and carried it right round to the patio for me. I would highly recommend simply garden furniture to anyone. My nextdoor neighbour already bought something on my advice, and also had a good experience.
